Gap time trial. Andy and Liz showed up early, warmed up, and didn’t give us much of a warm up.
Didn’t feel great for the first half of the run.
22:00 from Grassi Lakes parking to the gate at the top; the actual Strava segment is shorter.

CNC with Jenna.
Laundry Chutes, FYI, then back on EKG and Orchid. Jenna headed home via SpongeBob and I turned around and rode Orchid and then EKG in the other direction back to the meadow, then across Rundle Connector to join up with lower Odyssey including the jumps and the new unofficial trail, followed by the typical Long Road to Ruin / EKG / Orchid ride back to the parking lot, and added a lap of Soft Yogurt.

Then home to meet Bash! :)

Solo tour of Horseshoe Loop, Horseshoe Slabs, G8 and G8 Bonus.
Stay left for a reasonable climb up to Upper Horseshoe. Then traverse until the third up track (even though Trailforks suggests the second one), go up and left until you are above the first big slab. Descend this slab and follow it right and down for more good slab descents. Eventually link up with Upper Horseshoe again (this down track would have been the first option you passed on the way across Upper) and continue all the way across to G8, re-riding the stretch to the third ascent.
On G8, stay high/left to do the loop clockwise. At the G8 Bonus, turn hard left to do this loop clockwise above the main loop.
Came out Lebensrun (watch for the left turn after the long boardwalk and big dip and climb) for a fast flowy descent with some slight berms.

Trail Culture Run.
Ran in the caveman costume, including picking up a big stick/spear along the way.
Went with the fast group but dropped back when I realized that I was tired from my bike ride just a couple of hours ago. Ran the upper horseshoe/slab trails and then caught up with the half-caff group when I dropped back down.
Down along the drainage before G8, and ran back on the trails down below.
