Backcountry skiing (alpine touring) 2:30:00 [2] 8.0 km (18:45 / km) +850m 12:15 / km

Last day at Ymir. Able to get a half day of skiing in because the helicopter wasn't coming until 1:00; nice! Over to Camelot bowl for more good skiing and great sun.
Revy continues to be my favourite guide (well.... Scott Davis is pretty great too...)
Then the long drive home plus the time zone meant not getting home until after 9 pm. Long day but nice to be home after 10 days away on ski trips.

Backcountry skiing (alpine touring) 6:15:00 [2] 20.0 km (18:45 / km) +2350m 11:49 / km

About 25 cm of new snow overnight, more than expected.
Bart had mentioned several times wanting to get over to Qua Delights / Long Qua to the northwest.
Had a fantastic 600 metre run in a zone that was so good that we nicknamed it "Jizz in my pants". Derek and I pushed a little further south over the shoulder and had our own line all the way down. Amazing. We both had huge eyes when we saw it, excited. I made him go first all the way so that he could enjoy what first tracks are like on a run like that. Amazing. An easy contouring track (slight climb because we were able to drop a little lower on our run) reconnected us with the rest of the group. From the top, the 4 non-doctors decided to go for another lap of this amazing run, so I got to see the run the rest of the group took the first time. Then our group set a pretty solid one-hour time trial pace back up in order to be back for nachos. I'd been nursing my sick lungs for most days on this trip, but it seemed like the best medicine was the glow of a good run down, so I tapped into that and held the pace of Tom, Stuart and Russ on the way back up.

Backcountry skiing (alpine touring) 5:30:00 [2] 16.0 km (20:38 / km) +1850m 13:04 / km

To the east again. Skied a couple of lines similar to Day 2 that were good, and explored over to a couple of new spots.

Backcountry skiing (alpine touring) 5:30:00 [2] 19.0 km (17:22 / km) +1850m 11:41 / km

East of the lodge, tried to drop into Hidden Bowl but were unsure of the conditions; decided not to push it.
I think today was the day we spotted Sexy Couloir? Unskied, not sure if it goes or if there is a cliff partway down. Need to scope this out, it looked nice.

Backcountry skiing (alpine touring) 4:30:00 [2] 13.0 km (20:46 / km) +1625m 12:47 / km

Headed southeast of the lodge and had several different good runs in good snow, east facing and north facing.

Backcountry skiing (alpine touring) 2:30:00 [2] 9.0 km (16:40 / km) +825m 11:26 / km

Ymir Lodge with Bart, Courtney, Mike, Liz, Derek, Jordan, Tom, Stuart, Heather, Anna, Russ and Vikki.

Cold. Dug some pits and then looked around Qua and Hidden bowls. Some wind affected snow and some sun crust in spots.

Sick that night - cold, fever and chills.
