Fairy Meadow hut trip

After uptracking together, the group split and I was in a nice smaller group of just 5 plus the guide, aiming for the gnarlier lines. Steep, with some decent little drops and some strong skiers that were doing bigger drops. Then a couple other people joined our group later. Found some great pillow lines (started with a gnarly steep line we called Kick in the Dick) then into a great run of pillows we called Pillow Party. Pillow Party was so good that we did it again. Finished with a run that could take us down to the hut but we couldn’t resist taking fall line and ending up below the hut.
A great day with great skiing and 14 cm of fresh snow overnight, 25 cm storm. Pretty fantastic for this time of year, and it almost looked like we wouldn’t even be able to fly in yesterday, so today felt like a compete bonus.

Intentionally easy run on tired legs and tired cardio. Slow easy pace but it felt more like zone 2.
Legs felt better during the last 10 minutes.

A frickin’ hard night.
The goal of the max accelerations was to recruit as much muscle fibre as possible and keep increasing your max watts. Broke 850 watts in the last set.
