Healy Pass, Egypt Lake, Whistling Pass, Pharaoh Peak.
A big group run with ‘Bent, Bash, Myka, Carbon, Simon, Adam, Laura, Fitzy, Woody, David M, Tom, Heather, Linda, Peter.
Some turned around at Healy Pass, others went to Egypt Lake where several of us took a dunk.
Peter, Heather and I went for the full trip to the top of Pharaoh Peak while Tom and David M turned around at the base. Lots of big scree on the way up and down, no trail. Great views and the weather avoided us. Still felt good on the run out as we danced over rocks and roots to the amazement of the backpackers and day hikers. Toward the end, I felt great and sprinted the last climb and raced down the rest of the descent to the parking lot.

Floe Lake and Numa Pass with Bash and ‘Bent. Lots of wildflowers and wild strawberries on the way up. Not too hot which was nice for the big climb. Hiked a lot of it. No mosquitos at the lake this time. A few short marshy sections of trail in the meadows near the lake but not deep enough to soak a foot. Continued up to Numa Pass for more elevation and the great views over Floe Lake and over the other side toward the Rockwall. Ran most of the way down. A fun and beautiful day!

Spin class at work. Quite hard. Warmed up for 20 min before. Class finished with a hard 10 minute core session.
