Running (Trail) 1:45:00 [2] 13.25 km (7:55 / km) +460m 6:45 / km
weight:66.7kg shoes: Hoka Stinson 5 ATR

Highline with Carbon, Myka and Dominique. From Marta’s, up the east end, down the west connector, back on power line and Loki. Took a long time to get warm despite icebreaker 200, Norona long sleeve, Salomon XC ski soft shell, toque, buff. Changed to XC ski mitts. Finally warmed up near the end.
A really enjoyable run; trail was in excellent shape.

Running (Intervals) 1:00:00 intensity: (29:00 @1) + (15:00 @2) + (16:00 @4) 9.0 km (6:40 / km) +190m 6:02 / km

Dirtbags
Pyramid of 1-2-3-4-3-2-1 minutes along the double track across from Rundleview Drive, just southeast of the forebay track and fortunately in the trees and out of the light breeze that made the cold evening feel even colder. Wore two long sleeved tops (icebreaker 200 and Norona) plus the red North Face shell & Salomon ski gloves but didn’t warm up on the jog from the CNC or even the first three intervals. Final felt neutral (instead of cold) on the 4-minute and could run a little faster after that.
A few inclines on the route, depending on how long the interval was and how far you got.
A good workout and it kickstarted the inevitable thickening of my thin summer skin.

Running (Trail) 1:00:00 [3] 9.0 km (6:40 / km) +33m 6:33 / km
weight:66.7kg shoes: IceBug

CTC
Out on Mosquito then up the far west end of Highline by Riders of Rohan. Across to the east connector, down and back along the power line and the pond.
Pace was driven fast by caffeinated guys joining our group.
