Running (Trail) 2:00:00 [2] 16.0 km (7:30 / km) +265m 6:56 / km
weight:66.2kg shoes: Hoka Stinson 5 ATR

Lake Minnewanka to the bridge just before Aylmer junction and back with Tom, Heather and David M. Trail was completely clear and dry with the exception of one narrow ribbon of ice up the dirt hill that you could avoid alongside. Felt good the whole way. Not a hard pace, which was nice and fit what I was looking for today.

Running 1:03:00 intensity: (20:00 @1) + (20:00 @2) + (10:00 @3) + (5:00 @4) + (8:00 @5) 9.35 km (6:44 / km) +330m 5:44 / km

Dirtbags
Hill repeats on Spray Lakes Road
3 x 3 min, 3 x 2 min, 3 x 1 min, with equal recovery time jogging back down in between.
My pace really took me to the limit on the 3 minute intervals so I didn’t have energy to go any faster on the shorter intervals.

Biking (Mountain ) 1:05:00 [2] 9.33 km (6:58 / km) +175m 6:22 / km
shoes: Instinct (2020 Feb overhaul)

Nice warm weather today and heard the lower trails at Canmore Nordic Centre were dry, so snuck in a quick ride with Carbon before it started getting dark.
Went as far in as the coal chutes and back, and it was all really good, clear and 98% dry (one or two tiny patches of packed snow/ice that are still rideable and one or two greasy spots. The rest was dry and excellent. )
We figured EKG to the west of the coal chutes junction might be sloppy, and weren’t sure if No Homers or lower Odyssey might also be sloppy.
Great conditions on Soft Yogurt, Devonian Drop, Orchid, EKG, Blue and Black Coal Chutes, up Long Road to Ruin, EKG, Orchid, Olympic. All great.
Didn’t feel rusty, had a really fun rip down Soft Yogurt, Devonian Drop and other descending and twisty sections. It felt great to be on the mountain bike again.
