Sunday Jun 9 #

Note

Lots of walking Friday, Saturday and Sunday getting to/from and around the Grand Prix circuit in Montreal. Wild practice sessions, qualifying sessions and race in a mix of weather and track conditions. Definitely had seats on the wildest set of corners.
Ate plenty of good "bad" Montreal food (smoked meat, poutine, steamed hot dogs all-dressed, more poutine). And cretons. Mmmmmm, cretons!

Horseshoe and full old G8. Ran all the uphills and calf seemed fine, even with a longer run and a little quicker pace than last run.

Monday Jun 3 #

Running (Trail ) 55:00 [2] 6.7 km (8:13 / km) +140m 7:26 / km
shoes: Hoka Stinson 7 (white)

First re-attempt at an easy run since re-tearing the calf a little 13 days ago. Horseshoe loop, out on Upper, back on Middle. Walked any significant climbs in order to baby the right calf, just in case. All seemed to go well. Easily out of breath after hardly running in four weeks and not much biking recently either (weather has only been bordering on inviting).
The new Hokas were heavenly.
