I've put in several ~10K runs during training.
There were rarely 20K+ runs.
So, it showed in the race that I got slowed down in the second half.

Towards the end (around 23K mark) just before the gravel road, I got a calf cramp on one of the legs and had to stop and stretch it for a min and a min of slow walk. This surely costed 1:30 time!

I am a bit surprised with my first half pace (5:33 per K) as I never had such a pace during training. I am not sure if I should've slowed down in the first half so that the second half could've gone better!

This is my second best time in this race(first best was in 2013 race).

My plan is to continue training similar or better in future. Another thing I want to do is to put in atleast once a month long distance runs (>= 30K). I would like to increase the distance at the cost of pace in all of the future!
