Hit up Steven's today for some slush sliding. Snow level was about half-way up the mountain and it pretty much turned to rain all the way up later in the day. Made several runs down the half-pipe, but I'm still not real good at that.

Headed home early from work today to work on my kitchen a bit. I decided to ride down to Ultimate since it was a great day out. Felt pretty good on the bike, although I need to work on the cycling muscles a lot more.

Played three games tonight, we lost the first two but won the third. There was a good turn-out so the field was pretty crowded, but that's always a good challenge. I got hammered pretty hard going up for a jump disk twice tonight. My shoulder blade is pretty sore tonight where I got impacted. Was a great day for disk.

Ride back home from Ultimate. I was pretty beat after Ultimate, so this was a pretty slow ride and I was starving, so I was ready to be home. How come it always seems like it's uphill both ways?

Ultimate, 3 games, the teams were pretty evenly matched although numbers were low (4 on 5). Cold and rainy tonight, so that's probably why. Good day though.

Ran the trails at Stottlemyer today with Skilz. We tore it up in the mud today. It was a great loop, one that haven't ran exactly that way before. It was a great St. Paddy's run....

Easy run through Discovery. I made the loop around the perimeter including the lighthouse and ran my favorite "secret trail" that cuts through the middle. Great day out there. I saw a bald eagle and could see the Olympics in full view. The foliage is starting to pop out fast and it won't take long and my trail may be not much fun to run (there are a lot of nettles in that park). It's great to see all the flowers starting to pop out.

First day of Ultimate 2007. Had a good turnout today despite cold windy weather. It was fun to huck the disc around once again.

Went into the gym tonight after ultimate. Climbed a few routes (5.10B max). Felt pretty weak as I have only been bouldering so my route endurance is lacking. Hopefully I can start making this a habit once again.

St. Paddy's Dash: Crummy conditions this year. Pretty stiff headwind and rain, but I think I ran a bit faster than last year. I felt pretty strong today and my knee didn't really hurt. I finished right with the 2-4 place females and there was a little kid that finished right behind me (pretty darn good for a kid that small, hopefully he doesn't get burned out on running before HS, seen it happen to lots of good runners). Overall, a pretty good day. I was happy with it and it should be good to build from here.

Rode my old skool Specialized with CJ over the BG to the arboretum and back. Pretty fun little ride and nice to see the spring flowers coming out.

Went to the gym tonight for some bouldering. I haven't been climbing for a while, so I'm a bit out of shape. Climbed a couple of good routes, but my grip strength tired out pretty quickly.

Another moderate tempo today. Blowing off some steam from being stuck inside all day on a very nice day. Was bummed to not get out while it was still light out, but it was still very warm. I had to pinch a loaf during the run, which is never fun. Only happens about once a year or so. Felt really good tonight other than that and my knee didn't hurt at all.

Moderate tempo run around base. Felt pretty good tonight and my knee didn't bother me. Hopefully, it will heal up with running.

Easy run from NKHS today. I was trying to run this route: http://www.usatf.org/routes/view.asp?rID=54526 but the trail/road said No Trespassing, so I didn't run it. I had to improvise a little bit. This looks like a nice route, but it's on private property and the Kitsap folk own guns and don't take too kindly to runners on their property. Great day for a run. My knee is feeling better today.

Easy run out at Stottlemyer. My knee was about the same as yesterday, so I figure I'll keep running on it unless it gets worse. Real sloppy and muddy out there today. There is still some snow in the forest, but it will be gone pretty soon.

5 x 2:00 hills at Discovery. Felt really fatiqued today for some reason. Was an absolutly terrible workout. My knee was bothering me when I first started my warmup and I almost turned back, but once I got warmed up it was better.

Played on CJ's team tonight. We lost 1-0 on a penalty kick, so it was a pretty good game. I tweaked my knee tonight making a lateral cut. It didn't hurt at the time, but I felt something strain in my knee. I played on it with no pain. Still need to work on my foot skilz...
