Biking (Mountain) 1:30:00 [3]
MTB ride with Matt out at Banner. My first real good technical ride of the year. Trails were in awesome shape. Even rode a few new ones. My feet are still too sore to do any running from the Rogaine this past weekend, so it might be a biking week for me.

Sunday May 14

Orienteering race (Rogaine) 8:30:00 [5]15.0 mi (34:00 / mi)
2nd Loop of the Big Muddy Rogaine. We really were going slow on this loop. I got pretty tired during the wee hours of the morning and couldn't get my legs to turn over very fast. We decided to skip two 80pt controls that we had planned. We got back to the hash house with 4hrs to go, but my feet were killing with some very bad blisters and I was done mentally. I have ultimate respect for the people that compete in this sport. I've pretty much done a 360 coming from running the 800m on the track (a race where you devote your training time to prepare for a race that lasts less than two minutes) to competing in a 24hr gruling ultra-marathon that not only tests your body, but your mind as well. Not sure if someday, I might find myself somewhere in the middle of the two extremes...
