Orienteering race (West Point Long) 1:38:17 [5]

Long- Orange
I'm not very happy with my time. I did a lot of small mistakes and spent time looking around when I really should have found the controls straight away. Once again #1 and #2 were problems at #1 my compass was messing up, apparently this happened to 2 others as well. #2 and #3 were at the edges of swamps with a lot of green and brush around them, slow moving.
I thought it was a fair course though

Orienteering race (West Point Middle) 53:21 [5]

Middle- Orange
Easy course but for the first 2 controls I was thinking too much. They were actually really easy controls but I guess I thought they were going to be harder. The rest went really smoothly

Really nice course. I thought it was a lot of fun. :) Only one tiny mistake for #9 I went straight past it because it was hidden behind a boulder. But when I turned around to look around for it I saw it.

After my race I went back to the start and decided I would shadow Deirdre Young (she decided that I would shadow her as well) She ran the white. It was fun and she got most of them alone very fast. I had to tell her to check her map a few times but she got it. We finished in around 15 minutes :)

Ran with Anna today wasn't hard because in track there was a race and we have West Point tomorrow. We were supposed to run 33 but my ankles weren't feeling to well so our coach told us to stop before it got worse

I ran a 1500.
Annoyed because I forgot it was a 1500 and thought it was a 1600 so I didn't sprint full force at the end. I was thinking Now I can start sprinting and people were stopping... silly mistake at least now I know I can run faster :)

It was a good day not too intense, we jogged a 600 in between each one
