Running warm up/down 24:00 [1]

Jog/walk to scope out the course

Running warm up/down 20:00 [3]

XC race race 16:08 [5] 2.5 mi (6:27 / mi)

Awesome Race. :)
Mahattan Invite
Placed 25 out of 183 and our team won! Whhooo ( Varsity E race). I really liked the course, even though there was a lot of up/down hills, they weren't that bad and all the down hills kept me at a fast pace. The last 600 meters were down hill and then flat, which was okay but the straight away was soooo long and you could see the finish for around 450 meters. Our team really stuck together which was yet another improvement. We got pretty t-shirts and backpack yay! I love free stuff

This race was huge! I know I've said that before but there were 40 different races.. To put this into perspective there was 6 varsity girl races of around 200, plus the same for varsity boys, jv races, sophomore race and freshman... BIG

Running warm up/down 9:07 [1] 1.0 mi (9:07 / mi)

Technical/Drills/PT 5:00 [3]

Track running tempo 6:38 [3] 1.0 mi (6:38 / mi)

Pace miles on track..we were supposed to start at 7 min mile and drop 5 to 10 seconds per mile but we started a bit too fast :) it felt good though, my legs and thighs are feeling much better. A bit nervous for tomorrow's big race. There will be a lot of hills, and competition.

Fall officially arrived in my books, chilly out and quite windy which made running a bit hard. Weird because it would rain (nearly snow, maybe) for like 5 minutes then it would stop, and blue skies would appear. Then it would rain again.

Track running 6:20 [4] 1.0 mi (6:20 / mi)

Dropped a bit much...

Running warm up/down 5:00 [2]

Warm up right before race

XC race race 15:44 [5] 2.5 mi (6:18 / mi)

Success!!! Wooohoo I'm pumped
Race at home against Clarkstown South and Albertus Magnus
Finally ran great, 4th girl for Suffern which I have been waiting for forever and 4th girl in the whole race :) yes! and I didn't get yelled at once to "get up there" because I was where I should have been.
I was surprised our team did so well, our top girl didn't run minus like 8 others with some of our other top girls, but we crushed it. Top 5 Suffern came in before Clarks. South 1st girl which is awesome. I was with her most of the race, but she got a bit ahead of me before the hill, then I passed her on it and stayed up the rest of the way, really getting a lead with 800 to go. I hope we can keep it up for Manhattan Invite on Saturday. Good race indeed :)
