Walking- went out with Erin and practiced scanning, planning ahead and simplifying. Foot was hurting so I didn't run and we only had time to do 5 controls but it was great training. It's nice to go really slow and focus as much as you can.

Reviewed what we were practicing and worked on our posture and the way we step to try to fix our feet issues :) good training with Erin hopefully we will get lots more before Europe and after track we will have a lot of time to get out

Starting to get back into things, heel is pretty much fine but I still feel it a bit and I think I should stay off til it's completely better. Soaking my toe in cold water a couple times a day at home to reduce swelling.Back on the road to breaking times :)

Heel is feeling better but now my toe hurts , it's pretty bruised and swollen :p not going to run steeple or workout today. :/

Orienteering race 1:11:13 [4]

Probably the worst race I've ever run. Mistakes from the start all the way through and my feet were killing me because of my heel, 2 giant blisters and a toe nail that is going to fall off, :/ I was really frustrated and tried to get back into it but couldn't. Spent way too much time on every control. I think I was like this because I was the last start and that just messed with me. Also going to control 4 I saw a baby coyote so I just tried to get away as fast as I could incase it's mommy came. I was kind of running in the general direction of my control but it was hard because I was in a very rocky area surrounded by green. Ugh just a rough day!

Sprint day 2
Again not very happy with my race. I tried to take it slow in the beginning since I knew it would be technical but I still messed up with a couple of bad route choices.
