Running warm up/down 19:20 [3] 2.4 mi (8:03 / mi)

Running hills 20:00 [4]

So I had to format my garmin meaning it deleted all of my runs (stupid watch). We did 3x4 hills, first set was 45 seconds and the next 2 were 30. I felt like a bag of potatoes, probably because of our expedition yesterday. I guess that's ok since we don't have a race this weekend. (this time includes jogging back down, I'm sorry my log sucks for today... I had the best of intentions)

Hiking 4:53:00 [4] 15.7 mi (18:40 / mi) +949m 15:43 / mi

This turned out much longer than we expected. We were supposed to go to Saddleback Ridge which is a 12 mile hike but we missed the turn so we decided to follow the trail up to Little Marcy until we hit our turn around time and were forced back. We were only about a mile from the summit of Marcy but that would have probably taken a while. Saw our first glimps of snow up there....it's early October haha. Our pace was also solid even though we slowed down a lot near the top. Long, hard day for sure but lots of fun and the fall colors were awesome.

XC race race 23:04 [5] 3.72 mi (6:12 / mi)

Pre-Regional meet at Letchworth State Park.
Really flat and fast course which was nice. I was our 4th finisher and I'm pretty happy. (My coaches are really happy so that's what I'm going off of since I still don't know what's good) lol I also Pb'd in the 6k by 54 seconds haha...our home course is hard.Unfortunately I didn't come on top 25...or in the 30s but I'll take 48th..I guess. It was really cold so I used my arm sleeves and I think it was a good idea. I think I could have picked it up more at the end but I'll work on it, it's also good that I'm running a faster pace for the 6k than I was for the first couple of 5ks. As a team we are still working on running in packs so once I was dropped by the top 3 I had to run alone, that shall change. Excited for Regionals which is on the same course. (Gonna break 23 by a lot) our next meet is in 2 weeks in Wisconsin for the pre-national meet. Also got Liberty League rookie of the week again! Woohoo

Running 30:00 [3]

...I used my garmin and forgot to look at the distance and now I'm on a bus and don't have my watch with me. It was like 4 miles or something. Anywaysssss pre-meet day on the course, I feel good. Also super duper extraordinarily nervous for tomorrow wow. Our race is going to have 500 runners and my goal is between 20th and 25th place. Crap.

Running 13:06 [2] 1.7 mi (7:42 / mi)

Coach wanted me to take it really easy today so I did a quick and easy run before heading onto the elliptical. Weather can be characterized as a perfect fall day aaaannnnd Anna and I saw an o-flag hanging next to the trail... It was a really random spot but Anna is meeting with peeps tomorrow morning so she'll learn about that. (I can't go since I have class :( sad me)

Running intervals 40:37 [4] 5.45 mi (7:27 / mi)

Fartlek in groups, our group had 6 people.
Each person had a time we had to pick up for and we went in order. We went on for 45, 30, 60, 20, 45, 30 and took between 30 seconds to a minute of rest depending on how the next person leading their pickup felt. We had to do 3 sets, I think we went a little harder than I would have wanted when we were off.

Running 11:00 [3]

had to rush a little since I got to practice late

Technical/Drills/PT 5:00 [3]

Running intervals 3:44 [3] 0.62 mi (6:01 / mi)

1000m repeats around the baseball field. (2 loops) I felt really good which was unexpected. Our goal times were 3:45-48 but that felt way too slow. Today was the first day since school started that it like actually rained, and it rained hard.

Also on a random note, I got rookie of the week for Liberty League :) yay
5 PM

Running tempo 3:41 [3] 0.62 mi (5:56 / mi)

A little too fast

Running tempo 3:42 [3] 0.62 mi (5:58 / mi)

Running tempo 3:45 [3] 0.62 mi (6:03 / mi)

We were told to take it easy.
