Liberty League Championships on the Hoff (home course)
I'm happy with my run, it's a 36 second pb on this course which is not an easy one. The conditions were also pretty wet since it's been raining a lot for the past couple of days. I also made all-league (idk what that means but I think it's top 14, I came in 11th).
During my race there was one particular girl (I won't name schools) who was being extraordinarily aggressive towards me, I was shocked. Like, I've been in some pushy races, but for a solid mile and a half she refused to let me pass her and was literally pushing me off the course into the woods. Our trails are pretty wide and I tried to go to the other side to get around her with plenty of space to spare and she was just swerving in front of me. I got REALLY mad. Then at one point she cut me off (again) and I tripped on her and ended up pushing her... BECAUSE I TRIPPED, and she started yelling at me in the middle of the race!!! I was like "girl, that was completely your fault!" Anywayssss her coach was like "what the heck was that?" to my coach and my coach told him that she was pushing me the whole race...apparently she apologized and didn't get dq'd like she should have but she certainly didn't apologize to me... whatever. She should grow up a little. And I kicked her butt so sucks for her :)
After my race I was dying, I passed 4 girls in the last 400m and couldn't breath. Then I proceeded to throw up, like a lot, definitley the most I've ever thrown up after a race. Me throwing up is also quite rare and only occurs when I run fast so I'm gonna go ahead and take that as a sign that I ran well. Too bad we didn't win as a team :/ oh well...

Halloween run! We all dress up and run to the cemetery. I was Frankenstein with my partner. It was also extraordinarily windy and started raining.

My watch got all messed up so I don't have the distances for anything :) I tried.

We did a light fartlek workout, 30 second on at race pace, 1 off x 8. Our average pace was probably around 6:40. It was raining pretty hard which was kinda stinky, I can't wait for it to be snow (I'll probably take that back in a month or two...especially in February)

4x1000m goal pace was 3:38-40 which was apparently slowing it down a bit...idk that seemed pretty fast to me, certainly not a "taking it easy" pace. Anyways felt good but we went too fast
