Running 37:00 [3]

Tomorrow we have a "meet". It's not a real meet but we are splitting our team into two and are racing each other. I'm running the 1200, 600 and I think a mystery leg of a mystery relay.
Also it's hot. It should be like 20 degrees and it's like 50. I was sweating with a tshirt on.

Track running intervals 3:00 [3] 0.5 mi (6:00 / mi)

Pacing on point. 2x800, 2x400 and 2x200 on the indoor track. I felt great! The first 800 was supposed to be pretty slow, 3:00 was the fastest. Then the second was supposed to be around 5 seconds faster. The 400s were supposed to be between 75 and 80, so a bit faster and the 200s as fast as we want as long as we keep it controlled.

Track running intervals 2:55 [3] 0.5 mi (5:50 / mi)

Track running intervals 1:10 [3] 0.25 mi (4:40 / mi)

Better pace

Track running intervals 29 [3] 0.12 mi (4:02 / mi)

Hah I felt so good, no one could keep up.

Track running intervals 30 [3] 0.12 mi (4:10 / mi)

Ellie B's beast mode came out at the end of this workout. Anna was with me the first 100m and then I heard her go "oh my god..." and I was out of there. Muahahaha It was so much fun! I was smiling all 200m of it. Getting used to the curves as well.

WINTER TRACK (and there is absolutely no snow on the ground...what a shame)
SLU Holiday Relays 4x4
I had fun! I was super nervous before because I didn't want to run slow and it was my first collegiate track race. Going from 6k to 400m was definitely tough, my legs felt like they were going to give out after. While I was running I felt really good though, I got the baton in 2nd from Anna and held that spot but I closed the gap. We ended up in 3rd. Also our track has suuuppeeerrr tight turns, it's tough to stay in the first lane if you're running fast. I have to work on figuring those turns out a little bit.
Super excited for this season but I have the feeling I'm going to be running a lot of 400s to get better at the 800. Coach was super happy and she's excited for me to "run fast" this season. School record in the 800 is hopefully going way down.
