On the rail to trail. Idk how far I went because my thingy is still broken. Also I did the whole ride without eating a gu which was a bad idea as I expected it would be. I run out of energy SO FAST and my body is not made to function with low blood sugar. I was struggling the last 20 minutes.

Randomish but cool news:
Anna B and I are being sponsored (Yeah! Like they pay for us to do stuff!) by a cycling company called Tenspeed Hero. They are trying to expand to other sports (running, skiing, orienteering???) and they think we would be some fun people to help them try stuff out. They are going to send us on projects and adventures to do fun outdoorsy stuff! Before all that starts they are flying us out to Chicago on the first week of August to meet up with the crew and do some planning and figuring out what projects we will work on. I'm super excited about it.

Back on the not flat rail to trail in Westchester. We went quite a ways more north than last time. Near frikin Mahopac the trail is stupid and bumpy and has too many road crossings but past that it's very nice. The way out our average was like 14 but on the way back it was around 17. Also had a bit of a fall when I unclipped with my left foot and placed it down too close to my bike. I couldn't keep my balance and cut up my knee but it was just a silly fall. I need to fix my odometer/speed thingy because it somehow broke and my right pedal isn't straight so my knee hits my bike frame sometimes and now it's bruised.
Note: Apple Gu tastes like dirty snow and green jolly ranchers. 2 flavors I do not enjoy. 0/10 would not recommend.
