Cycling 2:55:00 [3] 43.4 mi (14.9 mph) +150m

Started in Wheaton and went on the rail to trail. It was limestone gravel stuff at first the it switched to pavement then back to limestone then back to pavement. We stopped at a cool bike shop for a little and then at a kiddy lemonade stand where we were served some quality lemonade. We weren't going that hard and some spots were a bit slippery because of the gravel but no one fell over or got hit (Yay!!!) and the path was empty and in very good condition.
Check Anna's log for the Strava, I'm always too lazy to carry my phone.
Also we got our helmets, I love mine very much, I love everything very much. This is so cool.

Cycling 1:30:00 [3] 20.0 mi (13.3 mph)

Easy paced, practice ride through Chicago and along the waterfront. We went out with Luke and one of his cycling buddies. I was worried about the urban cycling at first but Chicago is a fantastic city for riders and there are so many people on bikes that it's not hard to feel comfortable. Got to try out the Colnagos we are using here. Mine is bubblegum pink and I love it and I want it forever. Great fun.

Hiking 4:00:00 [3]

Went on an adventure with Papa, Anna and Rusty to Schunemunk (wow that is a weird word). Of course it was very foggy at first and then pouring rain, but that is only to be expected when you go hiking with our father. We went to the Megoliths (also a very odd word) which were cool but it was quite difficult to get down into the cave part since it was very slippery. Rusty didn't really like it down there. On the way back we ran for 40 minutes or so and ended up doing some bush whacking (like usual) and walked through a field with tall grass for 20 minutes. I was worried I would have an allergic reaction but I didn't, I think the rain helped. Drenched my the end but it was fun. :) Rusty is passed out.

Headed to Chicago tomorrow, not sure if we are doing any biking.

Cycling 1:45:00 [3] 27.0 mi (15.4 mph)

I only took 1 gu. I was definitely tired the last 7 or so miles though but that's ok. We were going hard until the church in the wild because there were a ton of triathletes training on 7 Lakes. I've decided that juice or Gatorade is better than electrolyte tabs because they're easier to drink and I like sugar. Hehhhh... Hit 42 mph on the death hill, that's plenty fast for me.

Running (Trail) 1:23:00 [3]

Ran to the lake before Pine Meadown on the fire trail. Saw 7 bear poops and a 4 foot snake. Also the rock slab I wanted to swim off of was occupied by a family (they were swimming though so I forgive them) and the moment we got to the lake the sun disappeared behind clouds. We found another spot to hop in and the water WAS SO HOT OMG!!!! Soooo nice, Rusty even went in! 8/10 would recommend. Would have given this run a 9.5/10 if there wasn't poop, snakes, we got some sunshine and the swimming spot wasn't taken.

Spinning 30:00 [4]

Only managed to drop 2 tiles on my head and only one broke! You could say my motivation to continue after that disappeared.
