Running 1:03:00 [3] 6.3 mi (10:00 / mi)

Went to the Stoney Valley trails. I didn't really know what to expect but I knew there was a gravel road following a pipeline so I figured I would just run that. Once I got there I realized there was an actual trail along the river (7.5 mile out and back?) so I went out on that for a little then turned around and cut through the woods to get onto the pipeline path. Had to crawl under the pipeline to get onto the correct side hehe. I wish I had a CX bike because I would just ride up and down that path all day! Oh well.

Legs felt ok, but definitely tired when I was path running rather than trail running. Doesn't really matter though because I don't have to be in good running shape if I don't want to be hah. Weather was quite warm but a nice, sunny day overall.

Cycling 1:07:00 [3] 18.3 mi (16.4 mph)

We were debating between doing the Santa Clara road or the roads near Lake Clear. We decided to start at Paul Smiths, head past Lake Clear and stop at Donnelley's for ice cream before finishing the loop back to Paul Smiths. So that's what happended except Google lied and the ice cream shop was closed. Anyways, really nice ride with a little bit of wind. We were kinda chilling and not pushing too hard but it was all good. Weather was perfect, 72, a little overcast and right as we started heading back to school the rain came.

Cycling 44:00 [3] 12.8 mi (17.5 mph)

Wasn't planning on going out today but Will "convinced" me to do it. I just did the Super Sprint loop again because it's short and I went out alone. Glad I did because today was a lovely day (75 and sunny) and wasting nice days in Canton is a stupid thing to do. Winter is coming my friends....prepare yourselves.

Note: going to post ads around school to try and form a riding group so I don't have to ride alone or only with Anna. There's got to be someone else here that has a bike and wants to use it.

Running 40:00 [3]

Went on a run with 3 dudes in the Nordic ski club. Nice to have someone to run (and eventually ski) with.

Running (trail) 47:00 [3]

Went to Higley Flow with Anna and did some trail running. It was a very fall-like day. We were going to do another loop but about 1/3 of the way through that Anna fell on her wrist hard so we had to stop and we just ran back to the car.

Cycling 45:00 [3] 12.8 mi (17.1 mph)

Went on a short little spin on my own. I really like the loop, it's great for a nice sprint and I got to go on some nice roads I've never been on. It was fast and it had hills but nothing killer. For the most part the roads were quiet and paved well. Unfortunately it was very windy so it slowed me down a lot (and almost pushed me over a couple times) BUT my average was faster than 16 mph so hah take that wind! Happy with my effort.

Also decided to stop being lazy and use Strava so there ya go. It's a whole new me.

Might go to Ottawa on Sunday for a little local meet/ training. We shall see.
