Cycling 1:08:00 [3] 17.5 mi (15.4 mph)

Easy spin day to Alexandria and around HP.

Yoga 40:00 [3]

A nice and slightly difficult vinyasa.

Have to move kinda carefully because I somehow managed to smash my cassette into my left knee while changing my flat a few days ago. It's bruised and if I bend down or put too much pressure on it I get a sharp pain. Hopefully that goes away soon.

Cycling (Gravel) 2:49:00 [3] 37.0 mi (13.1 mph)

Rode along the C&O to Great Falls and back home. The ground was still very wet and puddly from the thunderstorms yesterday and the woods were definitely beat up from the wind. Overall pleasant ride, except for the one grumpy old guy who yelled at me for going too fast...I was going 11mph at that point...which in my humble opinion is not very fast lol. But OK SIR! Average speed was not very fast but that's ok, the path was slow cuz it was wet and sticky. Managed to dodge all of the cicadas successfully although there weren't very many by the canal. Wonder why.

Not having to work is great! So much time to exercise hah! ugh.

Cycling 3:28:00 [3] 55.0 mi (15.9 mph)

Did the District Taco loop out to Darnestown. I tried to avoid rush hour and think I did an ok job but there were still plenty of cars, especially since I got back to Potomac during lunch. Didn't see too many others out, a bunch of old retired guys but that's really it. I was struggling on the furthest-out section, it's not flat and it was extremely humid and hot.

Got smacked by 6 cicadas, they have terrible aim. It hurts when I hit them because they are large and I was moving fast. Also felt lots of cicada pee lol.

I do believe that was my longest solo ride! I made it! I'm starting to enjoy riding solo although for these longer rides it's much easier with more people.

Just an easy ride to get back into things. I'm officially on break for a month so I'll be riding a lot!
