I really messed up control 3. I know what happened, but I am not sure what to do about it to prevent it in the future. One issue was that I didn't see the additional body of water that misled me to turn into the woods off the trail earlier then I planned. Then the second issue was that I had a mental block for the light tan line that was running through the map representing the pipeline. Once I realized that, I was okay. I am torn between the need to simplify, and yet to pay attention to details that matter.
