Great to see new name beside "Planner"
Felt right hamstring on downhill to 2, so eased back a bit. Dropped time at 15. Couldn't find SI box. Went round building and then back saw box attached to railing. Lost my flow and went in wrong direction to 16. Always enjoy urban events. Totally different dynamic which suits me. I struggle with 1:5,000 maps, but the combination of the 2 contact lens and magnifier was OK

Warm down shadowing Tivon. He got surrounded by local kids in a narrow alleyway (which I couldn't see on map) leading to no.2. They were telling him where it was, but he just ignored them! Course was a bit long. The draft as per text descriptions (11 controls) would I think been more appropriate.

Body was tired after Wed hill run. Going to take a break from racing for month or 2 (well, some Tues evenings accepted :)) Hill runs will be done as easy pace. Will bring me into contact with many other people!

Felt fine before hand. New stronger contact lens in both eyes to see how they perform during run.

Went out fairly hard and was hoping to hold on but the Shamrock weekend caught up with me and I struggled on the latter part of climb and the downhill. As well as being tired for downhill, the vision was not clear enough for flat out descending. Nearly 2 minutes slower on the descent than couple years ago and dropped at least 10 places.
