Dreadful map,
misplaced control
I go with low expectations and am happy to support the event, but may not bother next year

Had laced ankle supports on which are heavy but hold the ankle really well. No issues, ankle sore when I took it off.

Lovely Day!!

Note

Really enjoyed Newborough, been a long time since Curracloe. Unfortunately for Zoe doing Green she didn't get to experience much of the intricate terrain during the 2 days having only one path/track free leg.

While uploading to routegadget, I had a eureka moment that 100% green (vegetation very difficult to run/impassable) also included dense brambles in high visibility wood. I am programmed that green is a visual feature (usually young trees, but also windblow) and I tried using 100% green during the 2 days and suffered as a consequence, either by going through it or by not seeing the feature when it was just a carpet of waist high bramble in open woodland.

I have looked at ISOM 2000 spec and it is fully compliant, its just not the norm in Ireland.

Now I am imagining Mullaghmeen with a lot of green.

Backing to training, legs very tired this morning, but they've improved during the day. Didn't manage a recovery run, so postponed till tomorrow...sometime
