Tough, a LOT of climb, but tough and a lot of climb all in a good way.
Very late decision to go out as someone turn-up up to take over lap-top at 13:05. Put in contacts, got changed...didn't tape ankles, tried to explain my organised chaos of the lap-top and forms and got start at 13.23.
No.2 I'm sure was on Boulder cluster above the control. Arrived at boulder just above path but no kite. Grand to 5 but started struggling with vision across to 6 and dropped to path and then struggled to locate the platform. Vision iffy the whole time in woods. Just couldn't focus on the ground, which with untaped ankles is a recipe for major trouble.
Not sure what is the cause, perhaps rain on the contacts in the eyes.
Didn't like the look of the direct route to 12, lots of wind blow so climbed to corner of wood where Wicklow Way goes over a style and went via path.
Descent to 12 with no focusing on ground was ...interesting. I just had to make 100% sure I'd fall feet first.
Been years since visiting the other side of the Dargle valley and doing a circuit of the waterfall.
EDIT, No.2 just seen boulder to SW on circle edge, this was probably the boulder I visited first.
