Not much of a warmup. Was quite happy to warm up on the course as I knew I would be out for about 2 hours and taking it easy

I so enjoyed this. Went easy, got the brain in gear after dropping 3 minutes at 2. Had ding dong with Paul Mahon for 2nd half. Different route choices but kept coming together again. While legs were getting tired, I was good to keep going for longer. Reckoned I would be 2 hours, 5 minutes under and legs not wasted, so a good day.
Struggled with shadows in the wood. Used magnifier quite a bit. And a branch scraped eye coming into finish which I think took contact lens out, though could be still in the eye and not centred.

A great workout. Lung busting which I haven't had for a while. First hill very slippy but never fell down. Went well, wasn't passed. Wasn't my slowest time.

This was actually done in crocs but at the same time, a junior who doesn't possess any sort of off road shoe squeezed his size 10 into my 9.5 icebugs and did his lap, so logging this in my icebugs.
