Hesitant to say that it was worth the journey for myself and Tivon, though Tivon has put a positive slant on it by claiming that he has his biggest complaint ever, which is quite something. If I remember correctly he had a control, which had 3 ways in, and every way, he was met with a do not enter sign. This is a military area...so he got stuck...
My course? First control into technical area(no. 6)was in wrong place (to be confirmed) this scrambled my mind. I messed up 8,11,12 &15. Actually did a proper bearing to 16 which worked and the rest was following line features. At least 6 minutes thrown away, plus no. 6.Big positive was no issue with ankles, though I do routinely tape them.
The map faded a lot and legibility became even more of an issue than usual,especially along the folds. Those out for longer ended up with map much worse than mine.
