Heavy rain in morning left floods on road. A good opportunity to test the capabilities of the Floatrides. Remarkable I just skimmed over the surface.....

Actually the shoes were great. First flood was ankle deep, about 50m and just ok for cars and I could run through it. What surprised me was how quickly the feet dried out.
The other flood I had to wade...just below knee. I reckon about 150m. I lost a minute. It was so cold, but once clear of flood, the shoes drained and the feet warmed up quickly.

Very busy with walkers in parts, necessitating stopping couple times so we could all keep or distance.
