Running 45:00 [3] 6.55 mi (6:52 / mi)

We did a flat run today along to the far edge of the land and then back along the beach front. Was a welcome recovery run!

Running 1:35:00 [4] 13.57 mi (7:00 / mi)

Gareth and I went for the big hill again, this time much more scared as we knew what was coming. Came at it from a different angle and this added nearly an extra mile to the climb as it started lower. This made the non-stop hill now around 5-6 miles long!

It really was a killer today and we both knew we were working right on each others' limits. Simply heads down, grafting away, and praying that each bend in the road was the last! Great run.

Running long 1:45:00 [4] 15.0 mi (7:00 / mi)

It was a few days into our holiday in Bulgaria that Gareth and I finally decided we should drag ourselves up in the morning and get out on a run. Really glad we did as it was a fantastic place to get out and we did so every day afterwards (despite the very late nights).

Found a nice trail which decided to get steeper and steeper and eventually led us out onto a Tour de France style road. Having just been watching the tour, we got our heads down and dug deep up this hill. Which went on and on and on.. for almost 5 miles!

Cut off from the road and back onto the trails at the top which had incredible scenery and views. Annoyingly, all the paths veered off from the direction we wanted to head in and after half an hour of messing around we ended up lost. Managed in the end to cut through some woods and eventually make our way back. After the consecutive nights out drinking, early start, and scorching heat, we literally drank 3 litres of fluid when we got back and demolished tonnes of the bizarre Bulgrian breakfast the hotel put on for us.

Running 1:32:00 [4] 14.15 mi (6:30 / mi)

Sunday run with Rob Harvey and Gareth. Was feeling a bit tired so spent the first 10 miles or so towards the back of the pack before I finally freshened up and began to feel good. Was run at a pretty quick pace for a Sunday run but was a nice route which I'll be doing again.

Missed off some miles by forgetting to re-start the watch, but was run at 6:30s on average: http://connect.garmin.com/activity/199568999

Off to Bulgaria for a weeks holiday with the lads tomorrow so will take a bit of kit and might get out a couple of times.
