Stretching 45:00 [1]

Over the whole day I spent about 45mins just stretching... Feeling unusually tight :(

Running race 1:15:00 [3] 12.5 km (6:00 / km) +600m 4:50 / km

Cleland trail race. Finished second in my age class which was surprising. The run starter out well with a pretty even up hill to down hill ratio but after about the 3km mark it was straight down hill for 4km and then straight up hill for 4km. Was absolutely brutal. Started cramping in my calves with about 1.5km to go which made a already hard climb even worse

Also learned a lesson about pre race food consumption.. Even if you are running late do not replace breakfast with a gel!! Let's just say it wasn't a lot of fun...

Belair hills run. Felt good but slow on the down hill due to lack of light! Brought a head torch along this time but it was only a mild improvement because it was so weak.

Interval session down at the uni loop.
400 600 800 1000 800 600 400 with 1:1 rest ratio (roughly)
Forgot to bring my Garmin so I didn't lap interval times.
15 minute warm up and a 10 minute cool down

Warmed up with Jenny before I did a 3k time trial. Super happy to be able to go on a training run with no hills for the first time in a long time! It was a bit annoying though because I arrived three minutes late and the others had already left so I had to basically train alone.
Started out the 3k pace too hard. Got tired after the first km and had to slow down which I was pretty disappointed in myself about. Picked it up for the last km but by that time it was too late to put in a decent time. In the end my time was 12:01.
Warmed down with Liv and Emily and did some core to finish off the training session.
