Cleland trail race. Finished second in my age class which was surprising. The run starter out well with a pretty even up hill to down hill ratio but after about the 3km mark it was straight down hill for 4km and then straight up hill for 4km. Was absolutely brutal. Started cramping in my calves with about 1.5km to go which made a already hard climb even worse
Also learned a lesson about pre race food consumption.. Even if you are running late do not replace breakfast with a gel!! Let's just say it wasn't a lot of fun...
