Fell Race race (Langdale Fell Race) 2:26:00  20.0 km (7:18 / km) +1450m 5:21 / km
I'm pretty sure this is the recommended way to build up your training after a break. Plan was not to tire myself out on the ups but put some effort in on the flats, downs and rough stuff. Started a bit too far back then walked to the top of the first climb. Got some back and felt okay on the climb to Esk Hause and Bowfell. Got tired on the side of Crinkle and lost a load of places to the top and then again up Blisco. Took some back on the way down, most importantly Virgil Barton. Good fun and good runs from the orienteers. Lunch with Tom and Peter afterwards.
