The first part was proper tiring then I took a long time to go from 5 to 6. Finn Lydon caught me up near 6 and I got motivation to go faster. Would say there were promising parts this weekend. Just need to keep training and hope I can pull something out at the JK.
Went off the start line quite hard and just tried to keep it up. The actual challenge was keeping lunch down which I ate a bit too much off. This didn't help.
4 x (800m, 200m) with 5 minute jog in between. 2.32, 2.26, 2.24, 2.22. Was a bit mopey beforehand but ran as expected. Would like to have got a bit faster by now before the JK but will see how it goes.
2k tempo, should have done more. 10 * 400m. Legs were aching from about 100m out after four and about 250m out after eight. Lungs got worked but not as much as I'd have liked. 68-73s.
