Weekend long run featuring more bogus HR data. Garmin helpfully warning me that I am overreaching and I could actually damage my health if I do this too often. We are talking about 5 minute kms here. During which I could have sung the national anthem. Or blown up a balloon. Or hacked a dart.

Good week overall. Legs were pretty pooched till the rest day and felt just dandy today. A little soreness in the knees but not the kind that would turn me into a cyclist or anything crazy like that. The decision. To lay off or push ahead this week - the fourth of the second four week cycle - is still up in the air but I’m leaning toward pushing it.

Highlight of the run was finding the dodgiest $20 bill I’ve ever seen. My hand was gritty after running home with it. Not even sure I can spend it st a store and wondering if I’ll get a call if I stick it in the bank.

Boredom bike time. No whining because although I’d enjoy riding outdoors more I got what I wanted - an off day easy cross train without freezing my parts off. Fine.

Also, max hr is mega bogus. I actually saw the spike happen and grabbed the hr thing on the boredom bike. Yeah, 94. Nice try garmin. Probably just screwed my otherwise very accurate and realistic vo2 max.
