Standard HOC bramble-fest. Cruised round as after yesterday's efforts i wasn't sure how my leg would fare but was fine which was encouraging. Another week of strengthening and then i may get back into proper training.

Only one major error on 9 where i thought i was too far right and aimed off to the left but in fact i was on line and then wasted over 3 mins relocating

1st time i can honestly feel that my leg is much stronger than the last time i ran. HR Monitor didn't record so can't judge whether i was pushing myself more, it felt like i was. Was a bit tired after swimming so didn't have much energy for the hills. Really like this area and my nav was better that the last league event here.

Tewkesbury Tri Club (TTC) Swim ~ 2540m

Got wifi finally for my pad last night so i bit the bullet and joined the tri club. Seemed expensive but i think it will be worth it and massively improve my around training.

Session today was less arms focussed (thank god) as my arms still hurt from tuesday.

I think i've finally found a exercise that i can feel is working and improving my leg - weighted lunges

Got there early for once so did 1000 WU then 500m, 400m. Definitely can notice the difference in my stroke after only one session with the tri club

Went along to a Tewkesbury Triathlon Club Swim Session for the first time. Really enjoyed it. Today was very arms focused and included using paddles/floats/flippers. Should have just left my watch running as ended up missing a few sets so guessed the time. No doubt i'll be running with them soon but i think i will need a new bike before i go along to one of their rides/turbo sessions.
