Note

Went to see my preferred physio and got a different diagnosis which I agree with: the Patellofemoral joint is irritated. This means no ligament damage which is a good news. This all stems from when i drove up to the Lakes without stopping which in hindsight was dumb. Running shouldn't hurt it but told to keep to flat short runs. What will hurt it is loading it too much such as running down hill / rowing etc. Told to do more one legged squats and glute exercises. Will see how it goes and feel more positive that i could be running by next weekend.

Not a very successful week of x-training trying to get over this cough. As I was spinning today it felt as it was a good way of strengthening my knee ligaments. Will talk to physio tomorrow and if so will do a lot more next week.

Felt well enough to go today. Watch played up so total guess. Included a 10 minute TT where I managed 620m. I think i went off too fast as last time i managed 640.

Cough got worse overnight so not going to swim as i can't imagine it will go very well. Damm working in an office with other people. I won't get this opportunity very often so here goes the triple.
