Easy 60 mins on Helsington Burrows while my parents, Auntie and Uncle went for a walk. Hot, windless day, very nice.

Happy with my decision not to go to British Champs. Only just felt I've recovered from last weekend and off the back of next to no specific terrain or nav training it would likely have felt like a long pointless journey.

Absolutely no time for anything yesterday so rather than have another rest day, headed out for a loop from parent's new house than would take me 60 mins at an easy pace. Very nice evening, lots of lambs and many more hills than I have down South.

Easy 45 mins during lunch as after work will be driving up to see parents new house. Different loop than normal going North, round Ripple and coming back via Puckrup. More enjoyable and you don't get chased by dogs.

Nice easy recovery run from home. It would have been nice to do this in Majorca along the beach but didn't really have enough time before setting off for the airport.

Plan is to keep it easy this week. After that I will try to focus more on running now at the weekends (rather than trying to include swimming and cycling) in the build up to Jukola and Saunders.
