Long easy run exploring more of Mortonhall and Buckstone. Spent time trying and failing to find one geocache. Would have stayed longer if my fingers weren't freezing.

Edinburgh Parkrun

Hadn't really planed to do this but this was on the way to South Queensferry where I would spend the rest of the day scouting control locations / map updates for my SOUL in June

Drizzly but no wind meant favourable conditions. Unfortunately this was one of the days where my pacing was all off. Did a 3:10 first km then had a very painful 4 km grind to the finish going backwards all the time.

Time was actually quicker than i though it would be. Last time i felt like I had a bad run I did 17:30 odd so I guess that shows improvement...This was definitely a missed opportunity for a quick time.

EUOC Training on Whinny Hill

Went along as Vampire-O sounded fun. A take on the Aire format. 40 min score. 4 vampires, 13 humans.

Was a vampire to start with so after 2 mins I pounced on Tam as he was punching a control. I then ran round the rest of the course without being caught. I knew there would be some sneeky vampires lurking at the finish...there was. Tim spotted me and I put in a big spurt but tripped over a tussock and landed head first on the ground. Luckily it was a fairly soft landing but I needed a few mins to remember what day it was. I then was a vampire and after getting out stepped by Saz I caught Laura. Good fun.

Thought we would end up doing something different as it was cold and raining beforehand but stopped just in time.

Thought I was getting dropped but over took Mike on MFD then Gavin on the last descent.

Planned to do 45 mins after work on the Seat including finding a geocache I had trouble finding before. However I was late leaving and it took 30 mins to find. I was worried about going back into the office after the alarm had been set so I changed plans and went back to the office before the last person had left then just cycled home.
