12km Progression along Churnet Way Dismantled Railway next to Alton Towers. Did this before breakfast so I could then enjoy all the rides.

The Churnet Way railway is the number 1 attraction at Alton Towers. It's got everything you're looking for in a dismantled railway, flat and fairly even surface. Would rate 9/10

Work away day to Alton Towers. Rather than the rides which we get to go on tomorrow, I was more excited to check out a dismantled railway turned into a footpath. Went for 70 mins run with a colleague after our meetings. Turned into a steady run as but as it was mostly dead flat I didn't mind.

Running warm up/down 15:50 [2] 2.51 km (6:18 / km) +15m 6:08 / km
ahr:122 max:140 shoes: Mizuno Wave Rider 22

Jog to track, WU and drills

In Aylesbury so fancied making use of the decent track they have there. When I arrived at the stadium I accidentally walked into the cafe rather than the main entrance whilst the emergency door was open whilst they were getting deliveries. I realised I was now on the other side of the barriers so I snuck past reception and carried on to the track.

Running tempo 16:00 [4] 4.8 km (3:20 / km)
max:176 shoes: Mizuno Wave Rider 22

Running 15:51 [5] 4.8 km (3:18 / km)

Not that consistent. Didn't push myself to the limit either
