Windy lap of the Pentlands

The most interesting part of the ride came early on in Penicuik. A car pulled out from a junction on the left and didn't notice me until too late. I hit it very slowly and I had to press down onto the bonnet. I wasn't hurt at all and to be honest I would have done more damage given my heavier than normal weight at the moment. It all happened so quickly I didn't even stop my Garmin.

Monday Morning Meadows Miles

Hip felt good before setting off. First 15 was fine and I then bumped into HBT doing running related S&C by the pavilion so I joined them for a 3 min wall sit against a tree. I then carried on my run and hip only got tired for last 5. This was helpful as it shows exactly where I am; 2 x 15 mins with some rest/walking in between. Onwards
