Original plan was 75km. I set off on the same route as yesterday towards Gladhouse then carried on to Crichton. Once through Pathhead heading towards Ormiston however I realised I had a slow puncture. It took me far too long to get the wheel off so it was the longest repair known to man #perserverance. After that with the tyre minimally pumped up I picked a direct route back and was not worried about pace, just getting home.
Had the pleasure of bumping into Andrew in Morningside just setting off. He questioned why I hadn't gone out earlier in the day when it was nice weather and I didn't have a good answer. It wasn't actually that bad from then on, just very blustery.
90 mins easy on Zwift. Turbo connection didn't drop out this time
Physio yesterday wasn't exactly sure what could have caused the ankle pain as well as achilles pain so the plan is to rest it this week and hopefully get back to flat stuff next week. No issues when on the bike so able to x-train. At the moment we have two turbos but only one fan. It wasn't an issue before but now with two of us using them regularly, it means I need to schedule when i want to borrow it.
First time Zwifting for a few months. Turbo lost connection after 20 mins and I didn't have the time / patience / motivation (pick one) to try and sort it out
Ankle sore after yesterday so I'm giving it time to rest. Over the weekend I got a new chain and cleaned the cassette so it was a joy to ride. Just kept it small for the time being with 90 mins easy via Carrington.
