Coordinated a ride with Andrew. He fancied heading South so again I was in for another Midlothian route. This time I got to venture on some new roads but I did have another puncture - this one caused by a pot hole I rode into when I wasn't concentrating

Work had a cycling challenge throughout May. I failed to hit the distance of target I set of 1000km. I blame that on the bad weather. Thanks to 3 weeks in the Lakes though I was on track to hit my climbing target of 8849m. I was glad I checked what I still needed before I set out as it was more than I thought but 3 hours looping around Midlothian was plenty hilly enough
