- top spin
- backhand: left does the work; right is just along for the ride
- hit backhand at waist level
- forehand: topspin
-serve: arm is an elevator; swat like throwing a baseball; right leg follows through to front step
- practice hitting DEEP
- AVOID no man's land!
- no wrist cocking!!!!!

This started off as a trail run, but 20 mins. in, I lost heart - turned this into a dog run/walk with Fuzzy and Pickles...we were out for 40 mins., but I can only claim 30 as motivated effort...maybe I'll try again later -

Run in two parts - with Fuzzy and Pickles in the P.Grave forest - ran into Bash, Jan, Bulletdog, and friends - had a good chat, then continued on - great temperature for running! Also, found a bunch of North Shore stunts in the woods - where did these come from??? Wicked and spooky, but awesome (can I ride them? hmmm...)

good race, but cold - 1st lap was great, but after that, things went downhill...not sure why, but I couldn't get the rythm - bad tires for the wet - legs were putty, ugh...but still 2nd - so not too bad a finish - just wish it felt better in th end.

(sat. am...I will now mention that I had also bumped into Bob setting the course for Sat's race - so yes, I knew before most that the race would run through Albion, but was sworn to secrecy!! hee hee! I feel sooo in the loop!...;)
