| Just returned from a week out in the Alberta and BC Rockies - didn't log on at all and didn't record any training times, so I'll just sum it up here...
Sunday - road run around Canmore - missed Brit and Pate's races, but I swear I saw Brit racing along the road downtown, checking her watch and looking very serious... Monday - Snowboarding at Lake Louise - awesome sunshine - no new snow, but lots of old. Tuesday - snowboarding at Sunshine - still awesome, and even better as I got my legs back into it... Wednesday - off to Panorama for a day of skiing - yes skiing - I am back on 2 planks for a change - checked out TRC area as we drove along. Thursday - skiing (yes, again...skiing...don't tell my boarding brethren...) at Fernie - awesome sunshine again and great bowls. Checked out more Trans Rockies route as I drove around after... Friday - day of XC Classic at Mount Shark - great trails, sun and a big group from Sask. Ski Club - fun day with lots o' snow!! Sat. - travelled home...whew...brought back a big ol' cold with me :( | ||
