road run 1:10:00 [3]
Chilly but beautiful night for a run through Bolton - 1st 40 min. solo, then met Rocky and Don for the last half...brrrrr, but Yay!
swimming 30:00 [2]
followed the run with a much needed swim with 2 excellent coaches to give me tips! I have lots to learn, and now, thanks to coaches Rocky and Don, have lots of good things to work on! Thanks guys!! I did alot of pausing and watching as Rocky skillfully cut through the water with ease...

Tuesday Feb 6

XC Ski 35:00 [2]
easy ski with Tom in Palgrave West to catch the last of the sunshine.
road run (indoors) 40:00 [3]
run at Hockley - cold still in the lungs, so I decided to stay warm...

got the 1K done - got a long way to go before Ironman distance - whew!

Monday Feb 5

road run (indoors) 1:00:00 [3]
stuck to the indoors with my new membership at Hockley Highlands - figured this was better for my aching lungs on such a cold night!
C • Membership 3
swimming 20:00 [3]
inaugural swim at Hockley - got 50 laps of varying elegance and form in - they say it's a 50 ft pool - s I think I need to pick up the pace for future swims...less than 1KM for 20 mins???

Sunday Feb 4

indoor spin 1:10:00 [3]
aero base 1 - didn't realise how much I issed Coach Troy - decided to get indoors as my trip has left me with a very nasty chest cold - long run will have to wait 'till another day...
C • Welcome back 3
Core and Stability 20:00 [2]
leg, arm and core work on the ball
Note
Just returned from a week out in the Alberta and BC Rockies - didn't log on at all and didn't record any training times, so I'll just sum it up here...
Sunday - road run around Canmore - missed Brit and Pate's races, but I swear I saw Brit racing along the road downtown, checking her watch and looking very serious...
Monday - Snowboarding at Lake Louise - awesome sunshine - no new snow, but lots of old.
Tuesday - snowboarding at Sunshine - still awesome, and even better as I got my legs back into it...
Wednesday - off to Panorama for a day of skiing - yes skiing - I am back on 2 planks for a change - checked out TRC area as we drove along.
Thursday - skiing (yes, again...skiing...don't tell my boarding brethren...) at Fernie - awesome sunshine again and great bowls. Checked out more Trans Rockies route as I drove around after...
Friday - day of XC Classic at Mount Shark - great trails, sun and a big group from Sask. Ski Club - fun day with lots o' snow!!
Sat. - travelled home...whew...brought back a big ol' cold with me :(
