Saturday May 19

swim 20:00 [2]
after several attempts in my wet suit, I got used to the cold enough to get a short swim in along the island; the brain freeze and numb feet made me turn back and abort until a warmer day...spent the rest of the day catching rays on the dock doing 12oz. curls...not logged but what a workout ;)

Friday May 18

MTB 2:00:00 [3]
headed north for the weekend and hit Buckwallow with Mike and el jefe - we did everything we could find and I definitely got schooled on a couple of those rocks! beauty day to ride...

Thursday May 17

Trail run 30:00 [2]
run with the pooches in caledon east - legs feeling better
MTB 1:20:00 [3]
awesome spin at a great pace through albion with bmbc - 10 showed up for a ride through most of the trails - Scooby gave his broken arm a real beating and Ries fell asleep on the picnic table...ahhh summer...

Wednesday May 16

indoor spin 1:00:00 [2]
indoors on a rainy day - legs felt sluggish...20 min wu; 8x30secs LI w/ 2 mins. between legs.

Tuesday May 15

Hiking 1:00:00 [1]
trek with the pooches through Albion picking u gel debris and water bottles as we went...
C • Good citizen! 3
yoga 40:00 [1]
working out da kinks...

Monday May 14

road ride 4:00:00 [3]
a couple laps of the Adjala Crazy 8's - 30 min warmup, then alternating 10 min. easy 20 mins. 75-80% - sometimes I wish I could turn off the wind...
C • Recovery? 2

Sunday May 13

Note
Ocup 2 Albion
MTB warm up/down 40:00 [2]
warm up abbreviated as I scrambled to get ready for this race - hit a pileated (?) woodpecker with my car and went into shock and mourning for awhile, therefore arrive late at the race and scrambling to get in a 20 min. warm up - got in 10 70%, 5 80%, and 5 85%...then some spinning until the start. Cool down with 15 mins. easy spinning.
MTB race 1:26:00 [5]
had a great race anyhoo - tried to kept it down the first lap so I could stay consistent through the 3 laps...did it and ended up 2nd only 1 min. out from 1st - who knew she was sooo close?!!!
C • Fantastic! 2
Trail run 20:00 [2]
easy recovery run for the legs - what a beauty day for outdoor pursuits...
