Out along the park then up to Land's End and the bridge, Crissy Field, then through the Presidio and home. Sore feet from combination of stupid new shoes and harder surfaces.
Busy day getting a steed, getting soaked, having lunch with Ewen, and trying to find something to train for (US mountain running champs...) meant it was after 6 before I ventured to the track down the road.
Thursday's run accurately predicted my sluggishness. 9x400m starting at 73s and getting down to 65s with 100m walk then 100m jog recovery feeling very hard and not at all fluid. Another session or two will either make or break me for next weekend's B2B antics.

60s plank, 60s side planks, 60s planks. Shoulders/arms hurt, but core didn't. Drats. A few crunches, and a few squats. Got a bit bored. Did it at the track.
Yoga To The People after a long day of dandering about. Fairly basic poses, but a lot of long holds made it quite fun. Great core exercise at the end that needs to be called 'chillin' at the beach'.
Anticlockwise lap of Golden Gate Park, with a bit of basking by the beach in the middle. On pavement on the first half, then mostly dirt track on the way back. Feeling very much like I've forgotten how to run again after a couple of weeks with little training.
