Trail Running 1:12:28 intensity: (50:00 @2) + (22:28 @5)

GGP XC. Started well, coughed my lungs up, 6.20min/mile for the last 2 miles. Inauspicious is an understatement. Long cooldown.

Trail Running 45:00 [2]

Super easy pace - even when I loosened off - with an overly public jobby in the middle of the run.

Trail Running tempo 1:02:00 intensity: (40:00 @2) + (22:00 @4)

Bay trail with a 4 mile tempo. A decent warm-up, heading out the long way, then 3 miles at a comfortable hard, and final mile uncomfortably hard.
6 PM

Climbing 1:30:00 [0]

Bouldering with Paddy. Tore my fingers to shreds and guaranteed floppy arms for a few days.

Road Running 1:00:00 [2]

Feeling last night in the legs and lungs. Thankfully this was a stop-start run with some Nike shoe testing #607 all the way.

Road Running intervals 1:10:00 intensity: (51:00 @2) + (19:00 @5)

Things are getting serious now: 1k reps on the final section of the course. Aim to be faster than 10k pace. Took the first easy to test the lungs, then tucked behind Kevin and Spector. Ducked in front of Kevin in the last two. Left it at 6 to not tempt fate with my cold. Running well (sub 3.10 on those terrain repeats), i think, just don't know how much those other guys leave in the tank.

Road Running 1:02:00 [3]

My 10 to Malcolm's 15 at Half Moon Bay. Beautiful was to spend a holiday. Half Moon Bay Brewery afterwards for rehydration.
6 PM

Yoga 1:30:00 [0]

Castro sans chanting.
