Mixed road/trail 1:55:00 [2] 11.5 mi (10:00 / mi) +700m 8:25 / mi

Andrew was in town, so ran with him and Tom and Katie (for a bit) from Craigdon. To Mortonhall, with Tam getting us lost in the housing estates, then up Braids before going down the west ridge rather than the race path. Lovely little route. Out cockmylane and along the fields to Bonaly, then, as Andrew started to bonk, up White Hill, Capelaw contour path, Allermuir, Swanston, back. Tea, Fry-up, Cake. Knackered.

Pentlands with Alex, Beinn and John. I suggested the old Whitlie Carnethy ridge hill reps session and the others didn't complain much. The session is: effort up Turnhouse from the gate, then efforts up the other hills as far as you want to go out and back. We bailed on the intervals after Turnhouse :) (About 90s slower than my previous fast time; not as bad as expected.)

Out to Scald, then directly down a path I hadn't been on before. Black, Bells, home.

Beach Olympics at Tyninghame beach after. Crushed Tom and Reggie on the egg and spoon race before getting defeated on the Shot Put.

Pentlands with Eóin, Alex and John. Still aimed at 2/3 training this week, so ran up Caerketton, Allermuir, said goodbye to John, then Capelaw. E and A carried on to loop up Castlelaw, but I turned back. Nice night and feeling fresh.

“Intervals” with Tom and Reggie. We tried to do a triangle parlauf and, well, it didn’t quite work out. Either running fast for 10s or 3mins. Oh well, fun enough.
