Sunday Jun 9 #

11 AM

Mixed road/trail 2:20:00 [3] 14.0 mi (10:00 / mi) +700m 8:39 / mi

Out to dreghorn, SOL, back from dreghorn. Okay showing on the Black, 77mins, 16 down on Luke. Too conservative to 2, blip on the way to 3, too conservative taking the roads to 4 (should have headed up then traversed), too conservative to 6, bad nav to 8, disaster at 9, fine home. I guess the Scottish champs made me a bit too cautious on my contour reading? Need to stop forgetting to hit start on my watch.

Trail Running 58:00 [2] 5.7 mi (10:11 / mi) +340m 8:35 / mi

Still feeling low on energy, gentle low-level plod from castlelaw car park.

Friday Jun 7 #

12 PM

Mixed road/trail 30:00 [2] 3.1 mi (9:41 / mi)

Blackford shuffle. Very low on energy.

Thursday Jun 6 #

6 PM

Trail Running 1:25:00 [3] 7.5 mi (11:20 / mi) +730m 8:42 / mi

Carnethy reps 3x(30s,30s,6.5min). Nothing in me.

Wednesday Jun 5 #

8 AM

Mixed road/trail 1:05:00 [3] 6.4 mi (10:09 / mi)

Pacing Katie on reps on WoL. Hard enough.

Tuesday Jun 4 #

6 AM

Mixed road/trail 1:08:00 [3] 8.0 mi (8:30 / mi) +250m 7:45 / mi

Jam-packed day so v. early for a session. Knew it wouldn’t be quality with fatigue from Sunday still, so when the first 60s hill rep felt awful, settled for 5x4mins flatter as that had felt okay on a warm-up rep. Felt like I worked.

Monday Jun 3 #

8 AM

Mixed road/trail 45:00 [2] 4.6 mi (9:47 / mi) +120m 9:03 / mi

Canal and WoL with K and P after nursery drop-off. Feeling pretty tired. Lovely recovery pace, though.
