JK long- started out steady and pretty clean again, was actually enjoying it SO much. absolutely loved the long leg, went flying off down the hill, felt so faaaast! (but then obv the climb on the other side was not so fun). Hadn't really made a plan of what to go off for #6 and wasted over 2mins finding like 3 other controls in pits etc before my own... ideal. but then at #7 I overtook my 3min girl ahead, tried not to get distracted, was okay for the next few but twisted my ankle coming down the hill to #10:( so just tried to steadily jog/run it off & carry on. So I was a bit slow for the next few, then messed up #12. Tried to get my act together, but then the hail of hell let loose and in my panic to try and find #13 I went over on my ankle again which was really not ideal:( eventually found 13 but I was really struggling on any uneven ground and decided that realistically, hobbling around the rest of the course was not a great idea so slowly made my way down the track, absolutely fucking freezing. bit of a shame because I was loooooving the area, so nice!!
