Spent the day climbing at Dam cliffs as Andrew had brought us all gear to use yaaay:) my arms were so tired by the end i couldn't even untie my rope! was soo fuuun though, such a cool place!:D i wasn't as monkey-like as the others...and was slightly terrified half the time, but still really enjoyed:) also went jumping off some v tall cliffs into the dam, water was pretty chilly!

Blue mountains run with Shallot, Jacob & Andrew! sooooooo much fun! can't even describe how cool the mountains and all the valleys and forests and cliffs and EVRYTHING was. so legit. went along this looovely trail and up to the ruined castle and then along to Mt Solitary. basc amazing views the whooole way, could not be loving life more! felt like i was in the film UP running in all the cool mountains there:D unfortunately shallot had to turn back cos of her kankle..:( so me n Jacob & Andrew carried on to the end of the plateau and then decided to carry on and go down the valley, get some water from the river (thank gawd) and head up the other side (so much hill) and pray that shallot checked her phone to come pick us up. plan worked! by around 19.45ish we got picked up, and it was pretty dark by then!! i had taken to sitting down in the middle of the road so it was ideal that shallot arrived when she did lol. then we all went for a delish pizza.. treat yoself!
super fun day out, 10/10 would recommend!!!

nice run along by the lake:)) glooorious evening waaahooo! nice and flat so my legs were happy! shin was v sore the whole way, but less painful on grass, so tried to keep just off the path when possible. didn't make it worse, but it just wasn't loving life too much

usual WU. Lots of glut bridges & MB walks. did some light deadlifting 3x8 with assisted pull-ups 3x5 inbetween. split squats, gradually getting more movement through my lower left leg! then core circuit #buzz #ing

Twilight - the pinnacle. fast area, and was pretty clean for the most part, lost 1 min on #6.. didn't really have an attackpoint.. and just went haring off down the hill anyway.. also hesitant on a few. then on the way to #16 proceeded to run straight into a boulder hidden in the long grass, hit my shin pretty bad and also my compass (which now has bubbles in it nooooo). hobbled round the last 3 controls and lost 1 or 2 mins in that time.. WD didn't really happen as my leg was hurting quite a lot, plus my lift was leaving! got back and iced & cleaned it (ow).. swelled up a fair bit and had some struggles trying to wiggle my toes.. but think it will be okay tomorrow:)

went to the gym at the AIS (australia institute of sport!) ooo check us out :P
and did generally what we normally do back in edinburgh. though seeing as i hadn't done any weights in aaaages, kept the squatting pretty light!! didn't fancy any instaDOMS! finished with a core circuit that killed me off. i was v hungry lol.
