Rowdy flat (old gold mining area - aka pretty tricky!!!): map memory with David P. it all seemed to take a lot longer than it perhaps would on a simpler map, as it was just so complex and difficult to read! Anyway we did pretty alright and got fairly used to the map! basically walking though

Prologue course - nice n short, got them mainly pretty cleanly, but very hesitant on #1 and #6... the longer legs. managed to find obvious features for the most part to navigate by

Chasing start final- made some big mistakes early on and so had been caught up by most of the people starting behind me. Managed to get my act together after #5 and was pretty alright for the rest of the course. Really fun training and like the area even if it is terribly confusing!!!

Kangaroo crossing route choice practice. Mistakes on #4 and #10 when getting close to the circle, bit distracted by other people around. Also hesitant for a few, it still takes me a while to get used to 1:15 scale... fun area though, even though some parts were preeeettyyy hillly! Saw an echidna YAY

short course in beechworth gorge. Really fun area! Made a few mistakes... couldn't think about much else apart from being really hungry

Speedy hills with Tara and Chartlotte. 3 sets of 5x10s (1min bw sets), then 3 sets of 5x20s (2mins bw sets). legs getting tired by the end, but managed to keep getting to the same point. Fun!!
Then went swimming in Cotter river which was suuuuper fuuuuun yeeaaayyy

Redhill twilight event. waw so this went well.... LOL. not feeling particularly keen. spent most of my time walking up the hills, wandering round getting confused and then walking/standing still some more. all in all, how not to orienteer

intervals round black mountain fire trail - i actually found it pretty hilly... the hills on the way back were a bit struggs but i guess good practice running off the top of hills! 4 x 8mins (2mins). good to have shallot and tara to run with:) was also pretty consistent (1.80, 1.81, 1.83, 1.85).
